WELCOME TO THE LDCC - The Lindsay + District Chamber of Commerce represents more than 275 businesses and associations in the southern half of the City of Kawartha Lakes including the communities of Lindsay, Dunsford, Omemee, Pontypool, Bethany, Little Britain, Cameron, Oakwood and Woodville. It is a voluntary member-based nonprofit organization of businesses, who join to advance the economic, commercial and civic interests of the community. The Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce is looking for a talented Summer Job person. Deadline to apply will be May 17 Marketing Coordinator Start Date: May 27, 2024 End Date: September 13, 2024 Hourly Wage: $17.55 Hours per Week: 38 Number of Weeks: 16 Job Description: The employee will use social media skills on multiple platforms to help showcase the members of the Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce (LDCC). They will create short features about our members and what they do. We will also have the employee capture day to day events for social media purposes. We would like the employee to begin a Youtube podcast featuring our members. Answering phones, greeting visitors to the office and supporting some day to day activities in the office are expected. The ideal candidate will have decent photo skills on their mobile phone and be outgoing, friendly and professional and a little silly at times.
